we went into highlands primary school today and did a workshop sessions with three year 6 classes. We split each 45 mintues session into half and had the first half of poster making and the second half in roleplaying. At the end of each sessions the children got together and we had a feedback session as well as seeing somefantastic roleplays they had prepared. It was really good to see that so many of the children remebered the WAWWD slogan as well as loads of actions... The young speakers did a great job at presenting today and we all had a real good time! :)Re-uasble Plastic "Bag-For-Life"
I made this a New Year's Resolution two years ago. I'm still using a couple of re-usable store bags at the moment. I know they are not an ideal solution, but when they've worn out I will buy a canvas bag :-D)The pic is a number of re-usable bags replacing a drawer full of disposable bags. Of the re-usable bags (Sainsbury's Morrisons, Asda, and SPAR), only the Asda bags have survived.
